Woodford Country Markets and Woodford Hotel Lunch

Meeting/Destination:

We will be meeting at Shell Nudgee at 9.00am for an 9.30am departure. We are leaving early so we can get to the Woodford Country Markets before lunch.

The group will travel in convoy north on the M1, taking Exit 152B to Kilcoy, then it’s a straight run through to Woodford.

We will park our cars across the road from the hotel and stroll back to the Markets.

Lunch is booked for 12:30pm, so please return to the Woodford Hotel before then.

Options for return trip. You can high tail it back the way we came, running the M1 traffic gauntlet or, we can travel in convoy back to Brisbane via Mount Mee and Mount Samson.

Fort Lytton National Park

Meeting/Destination:

We will be meeting at the Eagleby KFC car park at 9.00am for a 9.30am start.

We will travel in convoy north on the M1, taking Exit 16 towards the Sunshine Coast. Staying on the M1 and taking Exit 102 towards M4/Port of Brisbane. We then take the Lytton Road exit and follow the signs to Fort Lytton. It’s only a 44klm drive in about 45 minutes.

The Club trailer will be waiting for us with the kettle boiled for a cuppa. Feel free to bring along a plate for morning tea.

The Club will provide a BBQ lunch for Monaro Club members by Craig and Robyn.

Amongst planned other activities, I have arranged a guided tour of the facility at 11.30am.

Please ensure you have a full tank of juice, comfy shoes and your CB Radio set to Channel 17. Our return trip will be at 2.00pm.
